I've collected Pokemon cards since I was young. Like many people, I have fond memories of opening packs in the Target parking lot, after successfully petitioning my parents to get me just one more pack. The first pack I clearly remember opening was a Diamond and Pearl Majestic Dawn (2008). I had binders of cards, and took meticulous care of my collection. Like many, I lost touch with the hobby when I grew older, but as I started to make real world money, I fell back in love with the cards that I had as a kid, and started to buy new cards and open new packs for myself. 

In 2023, we started Nitro Cards LLC as a rip and ship stream on TikTok. While modern rips were fun in their own right, our true passion was in vintage breaks. Being able to open cards for customers that we never would have dreamed of opening was an honor.

For various reasons - the vintage singles market going cold, the downturn in Pokemon card popularity in 2024, and ultimately, the United States "banning" TikTok, we stopped the vintage rips, and applied to be retailers of Pokemon, buying directly from official Pokemon distributors.

After a prolonged break, waiting out the uncertainty with TikTok, building up an allocation with distributors, and filing the correct paperwork, Nitro Cards is back and better than ever!
